P3Christie Said.P3
P1The sixth commandment- `Thou shalt not kill'- fascinated me.
I always knew that some day i should defy it....
My first murder was thrilling because i had embarked on the
career i had chosen for myself, the career of murder....
For me a corpse has a beauty and dignity which a living body
could never hold... There is a peace about death that
soothes me....
Having a cup of tea seems as much a part of my murder career
as whisky is with other murders.....
When i muredred my wife i removed the one obsticle which for
ten years had apparently held me in check. After she had
gone the way was clear for me to fulfil my destiny....
For years i knew i had to kill just ten women then my work
would be finished.P1

P3The Pubic Hairs MysteryP3
P1One of the strangest items found at 10 Rillington Place was
a tobacco tin containing four lots of pubic hair cuttings.
One lot may have been taken from Ethel Christie, although
the evidence was not conclusive. The three other lots did
not match that of the three women found in the cupboard. It
is possable two lots were taken from the two bodys in the
garden. But this still leaves at least one lot unexplained.
At the trail, Christie said ` He did not know who the
cuttings were taken from, but he may have killed other
people.P1
P3NecrophiliaP3
P1Although it is not known whether Christie had sex with his
victims before, after or wile he murdered them, there has
been a certain amount of speculation as to whether he was a
necrophiliac or not. Not surprisingly perhaps, little is
known of necrophilia (having sex with corpses). No
scientific studies have ever been conducted on the subject,
largely because it is presumed to be extremely rare.
Necrophilia is not illegal under English law, although
practitioners could well be prosecuted for `Outraging
decency'.P1
